Dr. John Jain is the current scientist and medical director at the Santa Monica Fertility. He is also a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist from the Board of Obstetrics, which he got in the year 2001. He has over 15 years academic as well as practical experience in the fertility field. He also has over 10 years’ experience of working as an Associate Professor at the University of Southern California known as the USC. He worked there in the school of medicine up to the year 2007. During his practice, he has been able to write several journals and articles on fertility. Some of his articles were published in the most esteemed medical journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine and Journal of the American Medical Association.
His achievements
John Jain is the founder of the LIFE institute or the Lyan research institute of fertility. This institute specializes in the enhancement of various forms of fertility preservation through the use of some uncomplicated as well as applied methods. The institute centers on the development of embryos and human fertility. The LIFE research institute is a nonprofit organization which aims at fertility preservation by using innovative methods to improve the care of patients by carrying out some experiments on cryopreservation, embryo development, as well as stem cells.
Dr. John Jain has also established a state of the art fertility center in Santa Monica known as the Santa Monica Fertility Center. This center offers fertility preservation techniques to its clients. Some of the services include egg donation, in vitro fertilization, fertility clinic, fertility treatment and enhanced fertility options among others. He has also been able to take part in the National Ethics committee of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). He participated in the steering committee of the National Institute of Health. All these achievements prove his dedication in the field of fertility preservation as well as prevention of oocyte aging.
Academic achievements
John Jain has a BA in classics as well as MS in Anatomy and Cell Biology which he acquired from the University of Southern California. He also has an MD (honors) from the same university. Between the year 1992 and 1996, he completed his residency at the USC in OBGYN. He also took his subspecialty training at the same university in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. He continued to carry out research at the University in the capacity of an associate professor up to the year 2007.
