Elizabeth Rehnke is the proud daughter of Dr. Ernest Rehnke a vascular and cardiac surgeon, who was honored with distinguished surgeon award. He served the people in backward regions in order to help them to lead a better life.
She was deeply involved along with her father in serving poor people. Her only dream is to remove poverty and improve the quality of living of the poor people in those regions.
Journey Of Liz Rehnke In Removing Poverty
Liz developed the interest of helping the poor people at a very young age of 11. She traveled to different countries along with her father and mother, who used to conduct medical missions every summer. The medical mission lasted for over six weeks in the backward countries, which helped the poor people. She noticed her parents, who healed the suffering people free of cost. During her visit to these medical missions, she experienced the horrible condition of people, who were sick and injured since years. This inspired her and now the main purpose is to pursue the noble cause of helping the poor to her level best.
She started by providing financial help in medical relief. Many people were benefited in countries like Ecuador, Kenya, Honduras, Haiti, Guatemala and the neighboring countries of Africa, where there is poverty, and families are suffering from different diseases and epidemics is spread all over. Liz is an independent person, who compromised her own life for betterment of poor people in these regions. She was always ready to travel to different places and provide the necessary help to those in poverty.
Elizabeth Rehnke is associated with many Social Organizations, NGO’s and medical networks. With the help of these networks, she organizes medical camps in different regions where the needy cans take the treatment without any charge. The camps have helped thousands of people in getting cured from different diseases and other health related problems.
Education was another area identified by her, as the main reason for poverty. She believes that the root cause of many problems faced by them is illiteracy. Therefore, she started schools in these regions and by collecting donation and charity she financially helped them on a regular basis by giving a brighter living and enjoyment to thousands of people for a better tomorrow.
