The angiomas are benign malformations of blood vessels or lymphatics. They may be congenital or occur spontaneously, forming patches more or less important, sizes and aspects.Consider that about 10 children has a birthmark, or terrain map. But in almost all cases these stains bind color of wine disappear spontaneously.
Many children involved
Frequent during early childhood, especially during the first year of life, hemangiomas are small red spots in the contour variable. They fade on pressure then recolorent spontaneously. The tuberous angiomas, formerly called “strawberry” appear several months after birth and then spontaneously regress before age 3 years.
Finally the spider shots are pink spots found at birth, on any body part. First quite red during the first month – and difficult to differentiate from the natural redness of the newborn – then they fade but never disappear completely. They are sometimes associated with malformations overall disease, which requires a specialist. To alleviate the inconvenience of aesthetic, laser treatment is now feasible in early childhood.
When stains are resistant to weather
While many hemangiomas of the child spontaneously regress and disappear, other minor but unsightly persist in adolescence and adulthood.
Depending on its location and extent of the angioma can be a real handicap aesthetic which must be answered. The dermatologist will be able to offer the best treatment. If the laser is commonly used today, such action can not overcome all the spider and sometimes surgical removal should be considered. Note however that the scars can leave these treatments.
