Rosacea, angioma, patches of eczema, psoriasis … those who want to imperfections in our skin we sometimes undermine morale. Why not hide them with make-up correction?
“The goal of corrective makeup to conceal the defects of the most discreet way possible,” said Joelle Nonni, host workshops cosmetic medical spa in the Avene-les-Bains (dermatological indication).
Too often, people who suffer from skin imperfections tend to apply a thick layer of foundation, which makes attracting the eyes of others. Here, we teach patients to make up in less than fifteen minutes in order that they can do every day without losing time. The results obtained in terms of quality of life are enormous. Once made up, it was a much better self-image. Some people who fled so far found outside the contact confidence, dare to go out again and come into contact with others. ”
Green and red, yellow and purple
The principle of corrective makeup is simple and based on the color contrasts well known artists: green applied on red gives gray, it is the same when applying the yellow and purple. We will therefore use the appropriate color to hide the injury. If it is an angioma, a rosacea or eczema plate, we take a pencil or a stick to cover the Green Party to hide. If it is a varicose vein or a bruise, it will stick yellow.
Above, we apply a foundation specially adapted, resistant to heat and water, with a sun protection factor. This foundation must be deposited in very small quantities, preferably with a sponge pre-moistened with a spray of hot water. Because, says Joelle Nonni, the fact of the wet sponge makeup allows more natural light. The foundation is applied by smoothing around the lesion and tapping on the correct area (the act of tapping can make a thicker layer to obtain a perfectly uniform complexion). Last touch: applying a powder using a brush for the matte foundation.
Face and body
The principle applies to the face, but also for the body. “I teach women, and men also, to make up their arms or ankles, to hide a patch of psoriasis or burns, for example. This can wear skirts and show their arms or to put in swimsuits in summer. As the makeup is water resistant, they can also swim, being careful when you wipe to do this by tapping where there is makeup, “concludes Joelle Nonni.
